The staff of the hotel is very nice people, but room is not clean enough, and smell of sigarette is everywhere... . .

Excellent location, good value for money.. My first time in Izmir - and to my delight found the location to be excellent! Reception is competent and welcoming. Breakfast is 'standard Turkish' with some extras. Room was very comfortable and spacious; the bed really good, the shower fine and the mini-frigo working. Local convenience stores, eateries etc all nearby.. WiFi coverage could be better. The decor feels somewhat functional and dated, but I'm not paying for that..

Ok for a short stay if you take the train. Convenient location if you need to take a long distance train from Basmane station.. The surroundings are not very welcoming, girl bar just down the hotel and a bit shady. That said it doesn't feel insecure. The hotel is ok for a short stay but a bit old. This is clearly an entry price, don't expect luxury..
