Passable. - Location is nice, close to tram, sea bus, metro and buses.
- View in restaurant for breakfast is awesome.
- Cleaning of the rooms was okay.. - So noisy, extremely! Sound of night club just in front of the hotel is being too much + sound of metro and cars are really disturbing. Also air conditioner was making a noice whole night even we don't turn it on!
- Breakfast was not good as expected. First day was quite nice but second day most of the food we took was like from yesterday.
- After we checked in, in very first minutes i tried to plug in my charger, plug is just made small explode and electricity is gone and there was some sounds coming from lights and plugs like it will have another explode or something. When i go down to reception and ask to change the room, stuff directly said "there is no other room with same facilities available atm, they gonna call technical team to fix it." But after couple minutes he came with a card of another room just above our room and said you can move to that room. So it would be better to check it before ignore me!.

Nice room, real views, close to main monuments however the street is very unwelcoming after sunset.. Nice comfortable room with views to main monuments.. We didn’t feel completely save going back to the hotel at night since the street is very dark, empty and generally unwelcoming..

Tireless trial of hotels. This hotel is amazingly located in the heart of Istanbul, Beyoglu neighborhood, with vibrant nightlife. Hotel is vintage, with very small rooms. The bed and pillows are fine, service staff is kind and always happy to help. It has a good breakfast and a stunning view of Süleymanie Mosque and beyond. The shower is complicated, very very small, you barely move your arms, if you're a big guy, no shower for you. This is my second visit and would love to stay in the newest tower as previous time, but no way to get reservations from abroad, the website/agencies only offer the vintage building.. .

Well spent holiday. One of the best experiences in Istanbul a very respectful hotel and everybody working there is so welcoming,helpful and sociable especially Mahmoud at the reception he’s truly a very smart and helpful man ,he will help u with anything u want and also a sweet lady called gulsana at the reception too so helpful.. really i enjoyed my week there the rooms are so neat , food is nice location is so calm ..Thank you Golden city hotel for a well spent vacation.. .
