Very good. I chose gönen hotel bcz i know the place i leaved there a few years ago it is very clean and calm and the personel are excellent. I loved so so so much the location in front of star city outlet and with the new metro station "doğu sanai" wich make all the places near to you besides that it is near to a bus station and even the dolmüş pass in front of it thank you. .

New Year's Eve in Istanbul. As I mentioned, the goal was to welcome 2025 in a different place and we chose Istanbul. We were with an agency and everything was well organized.
I have no complaints about the celebration itself. A well-organized and well-run celebration. For some reason, there was no champagne for me, but it's not a pain to die for and I drank wine.
About the hotel itself:
Apparently it was a business hotel near the former Istanbul airport. Nothing wrong with that.Clean and tidy, with a good breakfast.
They told us that there was no lunch and/or dinner, but there was a mall across the street and everything was there. Don't cross directly, but use the option a little further down, the traffic is terrible.
What didn't we like?
The location is too far from the main attractions. To get to the old part we used the metro, train and tram.
Even though there is a spa area, we didn't have bathrobes in the room and upon request they brought us one. For a room with double occupancy.
We only had one glass in the bathroom and we asked for another one, but we didn't get one the entire time. Incomprehensible!
If I wanted to have a hotel in Istanbul I wouldn't choose this one.
It's far from everything (taxi 30-50 Euros), this is the first thing that is not OK with the management.. .

Trip away to Istanbul for surgery. My friend and I spent 6 days at the hotel. Pleasant room, beds really comfortable including the pillows had to request more but nothing seemed a problem. The housekeeper was excellent, room was cleaned each day and was spotless, yes basic toiletries but so what! They supplied enough shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel again requested more and no problem! She was very pleasant always welcoming us when we came and went.
Room service was excellent! Choice of food excellent! Something for everyone always hot and fresh - we ate in the restaurant a few time fillet steak cooked to perfection medium rare! So I was happy.
Thank you everyone for looking after us following surgery you certainly were excellent with your customer service
