Over priced. Over promised.. It’s a great hotel. Big rooms and plenty of space. 9th floor vip floor is excellent and staff are well trained, kind and friendly.. We paid top rate and after experiencing the chaos at the pool
And beach (with over whelmed staff), not enough sun beds and loud / beer drinking working class English covered with tattoos we worked out quickly that the hotel has sold 90% of its rooms to cheap tour operators in UK. So not our kind of holiday crowd for the $$$$ we paid on booking..

Comfort at a price.. Good location.
Great view of the sea.
Clean and comfortable room.
Room large and well equipped. The two beds were large enough for a family with 2 young kids.
Heated outdoor swimming pool for families/kids and other outdoor pools with shade for very hot days.. The price on Booking was described as approx. 3900€, but on arrival at the hotel the total price paid for the room reached approx. 4200€. The cost for kids breakfast was not given when making the booking.
We arrived early morning the next day after the reservation was made and during the night the hotel already blocked the price for the 1st night. This caused problems with the bank payment for the remaining bill. The hotel staff said we could pay a money guarantee until we made the payment. Then we found out that the guarantee required was the same amount as the bill, but paid in cash. This is not something that can be considered as an option.
The reception staff is useless. They are not able to give any useful information without checking with their manager.
On the last day we requested a 4hrs late checkout(with pay). We didn't get any info until the last day, when they offer 1hr because apparently the other guests were waiting for the room. In the end the same staff from reception called at 12:30 asking if we like to extend our stay like there was no info about late check-out.
The breakfast was varied, but it was the same every day. Only change was in the fruit and pastry options.
The dinner at the main restaurant with open buffet (Flow kitchen) was very expensive at abt. 250AED per person. You can get far better options in other locations.
We were staying on the 10th floor, but during Friday and Saturday nights the music from the beach clubs close to the hotel was very loud and could be clearly heard in the room. I don't know how you could sleep on the lower floors. Maybe there is no noise limit in UAE during night time..
