Family owned and run boutique hotel. We loved our 2 night stay here it was like an oasis. Great location for Ephesus tour- after a full day tour we had plenty of time for a swim in pool before going out for dinner (plenty of choices 10 min stroll away). On 2nd night we took a minibus to Sirince which I highly recommend, the cutest little town. Hotel advised us how to get local mini bus and to try the wine in Sirince. Breakfast was divine, all home made, you can smell the baking in the early morning. Love that it’s a family run hotel.. .

. Excellent customer service as someone stayed late for our 0215 arrival due to travel delays. Comfortable beds with great breakfast options. Great outdoor pool setting but really only midday overhead sun. I would stay here again if in the area.. .

Highly recommended . The hotel is tucked away in a backstreet, there was street parking directly outside and staff came out to assist.
The hotel is beautiful, it has a little courtyard area with seating and a swimming pool.
There's lots of lovely traditional Turkish furniture and lighting in the communal areas.
The room was a good size with a small balcony looking over the pool and the shower was very good.
Breakfast was delicious and plentiful especially the cheese and spinach pastries. Lots of fresh fruit, cheeses etc..
The restaurant was closed for renovation, however there is a small bar beside reception and there are lots of restaurants 5 mins walk away.
It's less than 10 minutes drive from Ephesus .
The staff were very friendly and chatty,
Highly recommended.

Disappointing. Very pretty hotel in the back streets of Selcuk . A short walk into town with plenty of restaurants to choose from.
Made the mistake of ordering a couple of G&T’s on arrival. They took about 20 minutes to arrive and it tasted like gin and water! Flat as a pancake! My husband drank his as he was really thirsty but I couldn’t push mine down.
They very kindly offered to deduct one from the bill the next day - shouldn’t have charged us for either to be honest.
The young chap on reception then asked us on check out what we would be scoring them on Booking.com for our review as they only like 9’s or 10’s!!!! Really cheeky and rude! He was very deadpan with no personality, even though we tried to have a conversation with him. The other chap in the bar didn’t speak at all!. .

Beautiful little hotel with five star staff. What can I say about this place? We have never felt so welcomed by the Turkish hospitality as we were here. The service at this hotel is absolutely TOP NOTCH. I don't think we've ever been treated better.
The hotel was beautiful and the swimming pool in the courtyard was so pretty.
Our room was wonderful and comfortable. We had a small balcony for fresh air and AC as well. The bed was super nice and provided a very good night's rest.
Truly the highlight though, was the staff and the people who run this place. From the very start, we were welcomed in and everyone was immediately helpful. Every day at breakfast we were greeted and we chatted about what we'd do that day and were given recommendations. Breakfast, by the way, was another highlight. It was always delicious and there are so many options!! After we came in for the night, they would always ask about our day and how our day was going.
I noticed the staff also just casually chatting with guests over tea and asking them questions. It was very sweet and genuine. They are just so kind to every guest.
Sidenote: when you first get to the place, the neighborhood looks a little scary, but you quickly learn that this is nothing. The area is safe and we walked around many nights without ever feeling uneasy. We even were welcomed into a neighborhood gathering one night.
I have only the highest recommendations for this hotel. We look forward to spending time with you all again! We will be back!. .

Rooftop closed, but all in all a good choice :). As other people mentioned, the neighborhood looks sketchy, but we didn’t feel unsafe.
The hotel itself was very nice…beautiful decor, comfy beds, a cute cat hanging out.
I was really looking forward to the rooftop bar/restaurant…the photo showed an amazing view of the castle. Unfortunately that was closed (“under renovation”). So if that’s what‘a selling you on this place, call ahead to confirm it’s open.
A great breakfast included. Great location for Ephesus sites (castle/mosque/St. John’s church within walking distance… ancient city a short drive away).
Had we known the rooftop was closed, we probably would have still picked Saint John Hotel anyway.. .

Cute hotel in Central area.
We went there with my mom, staff was really helpful for the visits we wanted to do there, it was an amazing experience, really cute hotel in central area, great breakfast. We loved the cats that they are feeding there as a plus :) Just the pool was a little smaller then we expected.. .
