ruined our holiday. I am writing to express my disappointment regarding our recent stay at the hotel recommended by you. Unfortunately, we encountered several issues during our stay, which I would like to bring to your attention.
1. Construction Noise:
From the very first night of our stay, there was construction work happening near our room. It was extremely disruptive, and we were unable to get proper rest due to the noise early in the morning. We suspect the hotel was aware of this beforehand but failed to inform us at the time of booking. When we requested a room change, they moved us to a different room but downgraded our accommodation, despite having better rooms available, as they themselves admitted.
2. Filming Restrictions:
During our stay, we were informed of a hotel policy prohibiting filming on the premises. While we respect all rules, the manner in which the staff addressed this matter was unacceptable. They spoke to us in an unprofessional and rude tone, which left us feeling disrespected as guests.
3. Broken Facilities:
Some of the facilities in our room were not functioning properly. For example, the water tap was broken. Despite repeated requests to have it fixed, the hotel staff did not address the issue during our entire stay.
We have been loyal customers of yours and have trusted your recommendations in the past. Unfortunately, this experience has not only affected our opinion of the hotel but has also impacted our trust in your service. We would appreciate it if you could take these concerns seriously and provide us with a resolution or compensation for the inconvenience caused.
