Who Knew?. Who knew that 2 years, from Dec 2022 to Dec 2024 could result in such a huge difference in the quality of this hotel.
First, we paid extra for an "updated king suite". It was not a suite by any definition, the bed was a king, but too old to be updated, at least not in this current decade, and updated is a stretch not worthy of the meaning of updated. Dirty, scuffed walls and furniture, rust and mold in the tub shower stall, tattered well worn carpet and a strange odor. That was room one. They moved us to a second room. Same as above, except the toilet tank continuously started and stopped running water with such regularity one could count down a lunar launch with its cadence. So on to room three. This one has all of the above issues, except one can add the nauseating odor of cooking breakfast grease to the list. We can not get our money back, and can not afford to let it go, but we can advise you to stay at your own risk. Never again for us.. .

You are better off sleeping in your vehicle.. We booked an "updated" room. We were in rooms 331 and 333. If these were updated rooms, I would hate to see the rooms that have not been updated. The furniture was peeling , chipped sinks/counters and peeling paint.
All that aside, the rooms were filthy.
Check in was smooth and friendly. All staff was friendly.
The TV didn't work in one room, when we called the front desk regarding the TV we were informed that maintenance had left for the day. This was 7pm!!! A hotel that size, Saturday and no maintenance??? The front desk clerk was very apologetic and offered to move us to a room with a working television. I declined, after having cleaned the room myself and wasn't up for packing up, cleaning another room and unpacking.
The straw that broke the camels back:
Upon checking in they give you a pamphlet stating that the restaurant was open till 10pm. Our kids got out of the pool at 8, showered and headed down at 9pm to get a pizza. The restaurant was CLOSED. I called the front desk to complain. The gentleman was friendly and apologetic, AGAIN. He said the restaurant just kind of makes their own hours.
Management is severely lacking at this resort.. .

We would come back again to stay. Very good staff and breakfast. Our bed was not as good as it should be . It seemed to sink in the middle.

Nice Hotel. The hotel was great but didn't like the breakfast selection 😕 Hotel was beautiful and very nice and clean 😁 The breakfast only had sausage which I don't like bacon is better but everyone is different. Had no yogurt which I love 😀 Other than that it was a great place to stay but you had to walk a mile to get to your car if you didn't get a close spot but not fun if you have a few things to bring in.. .
